Tandoori Chicken Wings

These succulent chicken wings will probably be one of the most yummiest and easiest wings you ever make! Loved by both adults and kids. My girls absolutely love these and are perfect hot or cold, for lunches, snack or dinner! Not only are these yummy to make but it’s a nice cheap meal to make.

What you need and what to do;

1 kg flat chicken wings with skin on
3 heaped tablespoons tandoori masala
1/4 cup of olive oil
Juice of one lemon
Sprinkle of salt

Mix everything together and marinate for 30 minutes. Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes on gas mark 8.

Tadaaaaa! That’s how simple it is! Serve it with Cous Cous, rice, chips, salad, veg or whatever suits your fancy.

Use the leftover juices to make a yummy gravy.

Tandoori Chicken Wings

  • 1 kg flat chicken wings
  • 3 tbs tandoori masala
  • , Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt


  • 1)

    In a bowl add the tandoori masala, salt, lemon juice and olive oil. Mix together until they are fully combined.

  • 2)

    Add the chicken wings to the marinade and mix together ensuring all the chicken wings are well coated.

  • 3)

    Set aside for 30 mins to marinate and pre-heat your oven on gas mark 8.

  • 4)

    Take a deep roasting tray and place the chicken wings onto it spreading them out into a single layer.

  • 5)

    Bake in the oven on gas mark 8 for 15 mins uncovered.

  • 6)

    After 15 mins turn the wings over and cook for a further 15-20 mins.

  • 7)

    Take the chicken wings out of the oven and serve hot or cold with rice, salads, cous cous or as a snack on their own.


Marinating the chicken wings overnight gives better results but if you don’t have much time then 30 mins is fine also.
